Clubs
After-school clubs are just one more way that students can explore new adventures at Ross Elementary. Each year, Ross PTO strives to bring exciting after-school opportunities to our families. Below is a list of our current offerings and upcoming activities.
Advanced Lego (FALL)
This workshop is for grades 3rd through 5th and will be held in the Ross Elementary Library.
All Sports Club with Mr. Lyons (SPRING)
Led by our school’s gym teacher, Mr. Lyons, All Sports Club features fun sports-related activities and games.
Aviary Club (FALL & WINTER)
Aviary educators will guide students through an interactive program focusing on habitats, rain forests, and amazing adaptations. Each week students will have the opportunity to meet an animal ambassador.
Baker’s Dozen (FALL, WINTER & SPRING)
Your young chef’s creativity will spark while they design, create, and apply decorating techniques to their own unique and festive cupcakes, truffles, chocolate dipped apples and marshmallows, and cakes!
CDG Sports (FALL & SPRING)
This club is an after school classic packed with sports, music, fun and sportsmanship!

Ross Dance Club is sponsored by Ross PTO and in collaboration with Dance Junction 412 and Roots Yoga. The program is in its 3rd year and open to all North Hills schools and local preschools. Each class is CO-ED, and we encourage students of all genders and dance abilities to participate! We promote wellness for the body and mind through creative expression and movement.
Drama Club (SPRING)
Students will collaborate with Ms. Rushlander for an exciting experience filled with singing, acting, and dancing, culminating in a spectacular performance for their family and friends in the last session!

Kids of STEEL (SPRING)
The Ross Elementary KIDS OF STEEL club is designed to help kids and their families get moving together. During each practice, our goal is to develop the whole athlete.
Spanish Club (FALL & SPRING)
An educationally oriented, fun, and interactive program designed specifically for the K – 5th grade elementary student. Our unique 6-week curriculum teaches a basic Spanish foundation vocabulary base introduced through games, singing, and interactive activities!
Sphero STEM Club (SPRING)
Take a trip back in time to the Jurassic Period! Code, create, and problem solve your way through a series of high-energy, STEM-themed adventure challenges. Get ready to outrun a T-Rex, excavate a fossil site, and keep Velociraptors contained.
Outside the Box Labs (FALL)
