Be a Library Volunteer! 

Ross Elementary library is a very busy place and hundreds of books are circulated by students and teachers every day. We are in constant need of people to volunteer to shelve books. The quicker a book is reshelved, the faster another student can take that book home. Volunteers can give as much or as little time as they have. Not only is this volunteer opportunity convenient for your schedule, but it is also a straightforward task involving nothing more than knowing where the books go in the library. On your day, you can come anytime during school hours. There will be brief trainings for any new volunteers.

All volunteers must have up-to-date clearances. Anyone who doesn’t have clearances must submit them at least one month prior to their start date per district guidelines. You can check in the office to see if you’re currently approved or not. Checking on this before signing up would be best, so we don’t have any confusion/have people turned away.
